Fund pillars

TestCMS operates on the basis of three core objectives, which guide how we allocate resources.

Research and evidence

We fund faster and more innovative evidence generation methodologies, and research priorities led by the Global South and youth with lived experience. We facilitate longitudinal studies and youth voice research to ensure we have high quality data. We ensure our data is accessible. 40% of grants in the first phase will go towards research and evidence building.

Tech, tools & innovation

We fund the development and scaling of evidence-backed digital tools - from AI-enabled mental health support to redirection systems and family resources - evaluated against safety-by-design and wellbeing standards. And we work with technology companies to embed those same standards into how platforms are built from the start. 30% of grants in the first phase will go towards tech, tools and innovation.

Scaling solutions

We scale what works - embedding evidence-based interventions into the health systems, schools and communities that already reach children at scale. We develop the workforce capacity to deliver them, work with policymakers on the regulation and standards that make change stick, and coordinate across the ecosystem so that what works in one context can adapt. 30% of grants in the first phase will go towards scaling solutions.
